The smell of the candle when first opened is very chemical-y and was more than overpowering at first. Needed to let the candle sit before I could be near it, lest I develop a headache and nausea. After the smell settled, it was very pleasant to light and use. However the proportions of the candle were so miniscule it likely only has one more use, even though we’ve only used it once.
